March 2010 - Rachel & her boyfriend Rob came to visit us in SC. We went to Crowder Mountain State Park.

March 2010 - Kenny performs in a play called "Oklahoma." He was the peddler.

Jan 2010 - Diane and I enjoyed a great vacation away from all that cold weather. Thanks to our friends who provided us with this blessing.

This is my Aunt Eileen, she is 76 years old. She was married to my Dad's brother, Ron Krestan. She just visited here in North Carolona with her daughter Ellen. We live just 40 minutes from their home.

These birds hatched in our hanging fern plant on our front proch. Diane had been wattering the plants and didn't realize the birds were in there. They survived!

We headed to a North Carolina State park on Friday, April 17 and enjoyed incredible beauty. This park has many trails and one leads to a waterfall.

Diane's sister Debbie and her husband Gary and two kids, Sarah & Kyle visited us during the holidays. South Carolina is loaded with parks and places to see. This picture is of the entrance ot the Cataxba Indian reservation which is located near here. The Catawbas are the original people of this area.

This is the Billy Graham Library located in Charlotte, NC. It is just 15 minutes from our home. This is aq must see for any visitors to the area, and you can't beat the price, it's free.

We are thankful for this additional car. Diane is working part time so we needed to get another vehicle.

Springfield Mustangs end there football season with just one victory. Kenny played defensive corner for the season.

Nov. 1, 2008 - Jon Allen & Kenny went on a two day motorcycle trip up to the Smokey Mountains. They stayed in this resort which is at the beginning of an 11 mile stretch that has 318 curves.

Here we are. I carry Diane through the door way and then hand her a 30 year mortgage, what a guy. :)

Kendra's track accomplishments: Kendra participated in her second track meet this year. This time she got 2 silvers and one bronze metal.

June 24 - Kenny's dog Roxy gives birth to 5 puppies. These puppies are not pure boxer pups. The neighbor's dog, a poodle, squeezed through our gate one night. :)

Kendra's Junior/Senior Banquet was this last weekend. Kendra is the Junior class vice president and also was the co-MC of the banquet.

Kenny, shooting a layup, made the Junior High team even though he is in 5th grade. He hasn't played all the games because they are limited to 12 players each game. His last game he had two steals.
